Hello Fellow Members and Friends,
Worth waiting for, on Saturday, October 14th we finally gathered for an Intimate Dinner at ADEGA -- our dinner originally scheduled for September 8th was cancelled due to a water leakage in the restaurant and it took several attempts to find a date available in everyone’s calendars.
Representing authentic Portuguese cuisine at its very best, ADEGA delivered an incredible Epicurean experience only enhanced by the wonderful camaraderie of our Chaîne members and friends in attendance. Below you will find the link to a video with memories from the dinner.
Many thanks to ADEGA for making this a very special gastronomic experience and congratulations on its recently announced 2018 Michelin Star Award - second year in a row!
Special thanks to Fernanda Carreira who welcomed the group, to Carlos Carreira who shared his great wine knowledge while introducing the delicious wine paired dishes, and to Chefs David Costa and Jessica Carreira for their creative flair and modern take on traditional Portuguese cuisine that celebrated and elevated the wonderful ingredients!
Thanks to all the attendees! To those who missed it, I hope you can make it to our upcoming Holiday Food and Wine Tasting Fundraiser scheduled for November 14th at the International Culinary Center in Campbell, California!
